Governor Rick Scott has signed the Okeechobee Reservoir Bill into Law

Governor Rick Scott has signed Senate Bill 10, which is the legislation giving authorization to significantly increase the water stored south of Lake Okeechobee to build a reservoir in an effort to further reduce and eventually completely eliminate harmful discharges from the lake to the St. Lucie River. Tax Rate Lowered for Estero | Estero Real Estate

Being a resident of Estero and an owner of Estero real estate just became more affordable. Last month, on September 21, the Village Council unanimously voted to lower the Estero tax rate to 0.7998 mills, which is lower than the 0.8398 mills rate that was originally proposed.
